These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of NameCraftForge (“we”, “us”, “our”, or “the site”), a free fantasy name generator available at namecraftforge.com. By accessing or using the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
Using the Service
NameCraftForge is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use. You do not need to create an account, and there is no limit on how many names you may generate. The name generators run in your browser, and nothing you generate is stored on our servers.
You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use of the site by, anyone else. You agree not to attempt to disrupt or compromise the site, to scrape or copy it at scale for the purpose of building a competing service, or to use automated systems in a way that places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
Generated Names and Licensing
Every name produced by NameCraftForge is generated algorithmically from linguistic pattern banks of prefixes, suffixes, and complete names. The names are original creations and are not reproduced from any book, game, or other copyrighted product. You are free to use any name you generate in any project, personal or commercial, with no attribution required and no fee.
Because names are assembled from finite building blocks, we cannot guarantee that any generated name is unique or that it is not already in use by another person, character, business, or work. We recommend you carry out your own checks before using a name in any context where uniqueness or trademark availability matters.
Intellectual Property and Trademarks
The design, code, written guides, and original content of NameCraftForge are owned by us and are protected by copyright. You may not copy, reproduce, or republish our written content or site design without permission.
NameCraftForge is an independent, unofficial fan tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast, Hasbro, the Tolkien Estate, Middle-earth Enterprises, or any other rights holder. Names of games, settings, and races — such as Dungeons & Dragons, D&D, Eberron, and The Lord of the Rings — are trademarks of their respective owners and are referenced here only descriptively, to help you find the style of name you are looking for. No ownership of, or affiliation with, those trademarks is claimed or implied.
